Nathan and I once went out for dinner, ordered and ate our food before we realized that Nathan and I BOTH had left our wallets at home! Thankfully, home was only 5 minutes away, so I sat at the restaurant while he drove home to pick up the plastic. Later, one of the waiters at the restaurant who was a friend of ours said he wished he had known--he had some gift cards he could have applied toward our meal. AUGH!!! Just wanted you to feel my sympathy... BTW, I loved Funke's Inkheart, and think you will enjoy it as well.
