Disney: Need Counter Service and Snack Suggestions

I posted this on Facebook, but I thought I would put it here on my blog, too. Our Disney trip is coming up soon. Believe it or not, I still haven't done/tried everything there. Looking for some new experiences this year. Already booked 3 new restaurants, so I'm thinking more like snacks or counter service places. Might actually try the famous Dole Whip this year (no, I've never had one; I know!). Any other suggestions for don't miss food?

Also, if anyone has a free Disney app they love (particularly for ride wait times), I'm all ears. I've downloaded three to try (and of course I'll review them when I get back), but I'm open to suggestions. And I'm absurdly excited to see the results of my pedometer while we're gone. It's like an experimental Disney trip! LOL

Currently feeling: ready for the mouse!

  1. Do you have Mobile Magic, the Disney app? I'm going to try it vs. Lines (the Touring Plans app). I'm hoping that Mobile Magic will be tapped right into Disney's official wait times since they're producing it. No idea on the food options. It's been five years since our last trip and that's probably too long to make any real recommendations.

  2. Just remember the schoolbread in Norway for a (big!) snack. =) I'm sure you've done The Land for counter service in Epcot, right? I love the choices they have there. Another Epcot option is to walk out the back gate to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club (menu: http://allears.net/menu/menu_bc.htm) and hope someone orders the Kitchen Sink while you're there. =) Of course, there are so many good things to eat in World Showcase, I think we've only done that once!
