Quite the interesting Christmas (with video!)

We had a lot of fun. We got lots of awesome gifts. We all have "Guitar Hero hand." We made lots of new recipes. We set off a fire siren in our attic on Christmas Eve that we didn't even know we had, prompting a visit from a police officer who happened to be passing by. We got a pick-up truck stuck in Georgia red clay turned mud in our yard. Lots of family, lots of fun, and a little too much excitement. Full details later (after all, I must immortalize my brother trying to burn down my house with a blog post). I hope yours was happy and a little less exciting.

And for anyone who could use a smile, this is for you. It is nearly 2 minutes long, but it is worth watching to at least the 1 minute and 25 second mark (watch for the hiney wiggle right in front of the camera).

Holiday Hiatus

Happy Holidays to all of you! I don't know about you, but I have a house full of family descending today, and I don't expect to be online much, if any, for the rest of Christmas week. I have a couple of posts pre-written and scheduled to appear on the blog, just for those working and bored this week (yes, I'm speaking of you, Christine S! LOL). I will be back the week of New Year's.

Not sure I'm going to make it!

I am adding to my "to do list" faster than I am subtracting. I am now up to 14 items to be done before tomorrow! ACK!! About the only thing I have fully completed is a batch of Christine's Special Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies (a recipe in the works for years by my friend Christi Ruffo). A few other items are in progress but not yet complete, and the rest (10-ish, give or take a couple) haven't even begun. It's gonna be a long night.
