(Pun intended.) I picked up a copy of Twilight today at Target. They had their mass market paperbacks on sale, and I decided to see what all the fuss is about. Not sure when I'll start it. Maybe over Thanksgiving; many hours in the car will be involved. Not sure if I'll give up on my current book and switch over now, or try to finish my current book first (it's not really grabbing me). We'll see.
Currently feeling: like a sheeple
Well, I did the sheeple route, too, but at least I was just reading borrowed copies from one of the lab sheeps (lab-lambs? hee).
ReplyDeleteJust as long as (if you read the entire series) you hate the last one, I can still respect you :p
I'll tell you right now - getting through the first chapter or so might be dicey and then it picks up. So give it a couple of chapter before you make a decision about it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I didn't hate the last book in the series as much as wonder why she chose to end it *that* way. So take that for what it is.
I picked up the series finally at the urging of a co-worker (gentlemen in Salt Lake with 5 teen girls - avid reader).
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say I "hated" the last book. It had some unexpected twists, but I was pretty happy with the ending.
Enjoy :)
