Dominick, The Italian Christmas Donkey

This definitely qualifies as my "what the heck" moment of Christmas this year. I cannot imagine anything topping this. We have XM Satelite Radio in our new Camry, and it is running two different Christmas music stations during the month of December. One is more current hits, and one is more classic hits like Bing and Nat and The Andrews Sisters (it took over the regular 40s station). I actually find myself listening to the oldies station more than the contemporary one (and listening to the local 98.5 FM station even more than either of those, since they have an excellent mix of new and old), and I've discovered some songs I was not aware of. But this little gem takes the cake. Perhaps you all know it already, but it was definitely new to me. I give to you: Dominick, The Italian Christmas Donkey. It will be stuck in your head for days! Don't say I didn't warn you.

Currently feeling: trying to block it out

  1. Oh, my word--we heard this for the first time this year, and almost drove off the road when we realized it was talking about a DONKEY! And yes, it sticks in your head something terrible. Too funny.
