It came! I think I posted more of this saga on Facebook than on my blog, but it actually arrived on Monday, a full two days earlier than they said it might. Behold the beauty that is the Panasonic Viera 50" plasma:

Woo Hoo - congrats! We just got the same TV in the 42in. size for our "big" present only we bought ours from Circuit City the weekend after Thanksgiving. We are very happy with our Panasonic Viera! The picture is awesome!
