We have booked baseball tickets and a hotel for our 2008 trip to Disney, and I can't wait! Thanks to having behemoth child, who was 40 inches tall back in November (and who has recently developed a bit of a tummy, promising another inch or two coming soon), he will easily clear the next set of height restrictions at the parks, including Big Thunder Mountain and Star Tours. What a blast that is going to be! Still not quite there for Space Mountain, but hey, we have to save something for next year, right? LOL
Now I just have to find age-appropriate clothing for a 3 year old who needs Boys Size 5. It's harder than you think! I'm fine if 8-9 year olds want to wear skater clothes and skulls and Captain Jack Sparrow clothes, but I just really don't like how that looks on my little kid. It's just too.... harsh for him. I'm hoping that when all the spring clothes get put out, I can find some good stuff. I just think it is sad that all of the stuff for young boys (size 4-7) is so grown up looking. There's always the Disney store (grin)!
Currently feeling: ready for the mouse house
I feel your pain. I won't even let my 11 year old wear the skater clothes. Makes it a challenge to dress him sometimes!
ReplyDeleteDisney store is awesome for jeans. It took Patrick 2 years to put holes in the knees of Disney jeans, vs. a few months for the ones I bought at Target. Plus, the Disney ones are actually long enough for him.
Woo hoo!! Doin' a happy Disney dance on your behalf!! (Can you pack me in your suitcase??)
ReplyDeleteHooray!!!! When are you going? We leave 2 weeks from yesterday (1/26-2/2) - I am so excited!
ReplyDeleteRemember our PassPorter talk? I went ahead and got one. I know you aren't a guidebook person, but OMG, I love it! I think I might marry it. You should get one. The planner style is so nice, cause you can add in your own pages, take out the parts you don't need.
