Super Summer 2012 - Mission Log, Day 4

I was a terrible camp counselor today. We didn't do much worthwhile, much less "fun and educational." We were supposed to make more playdough, go to the grocery store, and go to Target. Only one of those three things actually happened. About the closest we got to educational was eating our breakfast while watching a Mythbusters and a program on Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench (not the James Cameron one; this one was from 2009). Cleo decided to watch with us.

Luke played Wii for about 30 minutes, had snack, then spent over 90 minutes playing with the one batch of blue playdough we made on Tuesday. He was so content and seemed to be having so much fun that I just let him be (I played with nail polish; swatched 19 different colors). We ate lunch, then hit Target for Father's Day cards. Another 30 minutes of Wii, snack, 20 minutes of reading, and then he played LEGOs downstairs until DH got home. I'm trying not to feel guilty. I mean, it *is* summer, but I promise to try to do better with my "lesson plans" next week.

Currently feeling: I shouldn't be this tired when we did so little

  1. And so where are the swatch photos? That by itself makes the day productive, girlfriend. LOL

  2. Cutie pic of Luke and Cleo!! Don't beat yourself up. Any day that isn't spend with eyeballs glued to a screen is a positive day in my book. He played legos and with playdough. Awesome! =)
