It is one thing to hear kicking and screaming and crying from the other side of the door. It is quite another to hear, in a very calm, still, clear, and pleading voice, "Daddy, where are you?" repeated several times. Thankfully(?), the kicking and screaming returned shortly thereafter.
Currently feeling: wishing I were out of tears
I was going to suggest the same thing Melanie did a couple of posts down. A baby gate across the bedroom door is how we kept Scarlett in her room. Of course, if Luke can climb one, that won't work for you.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, and I hope Luke adjusts soon, I know how painful this is for you!
Oh, I totally agree. The miserable, articulate begging is far worse than the screaming. Thinking of you at the hard, hard time.
