Luke's 6 year old well visit with the doctor was today. I don't usually get an appointment this close to his actual birthday, it just worked out that way this year. Here are his official numbers:
Height: 48.5 inches (1.23 meters), 93rd percentile; +3 inches (7.6 cm) from last year
Weight: 58 lbs (26.3 kg, 4 stone 2), 93rd percentile; +8 lbs (3.6 kg) from last year
Not much to tell, really. Everything looks great, including his ears. Hearing and vision both fine. He is continuing on the same curve he's been on since birth. Other than him needing to eat a few more fruits and vegetables (like most kids (and grown ups!)), he's good. What more could a mom ask?
48 inches is a magic number I have been waiting on for years. Why? Because it is the height limit on many of the major rides at theme parks. Luke is now officially tall enough to ride the Rockin' Roller Coaster at Disney! Can we go yet?
Currently feeling: ready for March!!
