But why?

We have entered the why phase. We may not survive.

Currently feeling: resigned

  1. Oh goodness - only just? Niamh's been going on that for a while already. Maybe second children just learn it earlier from their elder siblings... I can't remember when Finn started :) Have fun!

  2. I'm sorry, but it's inevitable. It cannot be avoided. :-)

  3. Remember "cause yes" -- it worked with you and your brother.

  4. I almost spit my drink all over my monitor! Katie has given up on asking "Why?". Now she just tells me why. For example, "Mama, Santa comes on Jesus' birthday because they are friends up in heaven." Or "Strawberries are red like hearts because we like them." I'm always torn between just agreeing with her and wondering whether I should take advantage of the educational moment and explain why strawberries are really red... only when I do that, she insists that her logic is correct and gets really frustrated with me. Somedays the argument is just not worth it!

  5. I find this amusing because knowing you and your husband, you will endeavor to give him the *correct* answer rather than one to simply satisfy the question LOL

  6. You need to add a "time since I uttered, 'Because I said so!'" count to the side of the blog....
